I am one of two female founders building the growing luxury resale Facebook group, HIGH END. We have a thriving community of over 110,000 people and the time has come for us to transition across to a new and improved platform - Website or App marketplace MVP. We're after a quote to build a website, and an app - we will only move forward with one of these.
We are aiming to position HIGH END as the leading global platform for luxury resale. The app or website will enable audiences to engage with a highly curated, trusted and comprehensive collection of luxury resale goods. At the heart of the HIGH END app/website is the user’s ability to quickly find items of interest, assess them and then initiate the authentication and purchase process. The home screen must enable discovery through featured content and collections, while search and filtering need to be intuitive and fast. The item detail screen should showcase the product and enable rapid access to details such as authentication status, make, model, year, condition and of course price.
We want to build upon our strong foundation, ensuring that the highest level of security and authentication is applied at all stages of the listing and sale process, encompassing:
-Seller application, admin review of product uploads and approvals
-Authentication of items (both manual and automated): Some items (dependent on brand) will need to be sent in house for physical authentication once the item has been sold, others can be shipped directly seller to buyer (peer to peer)
-Cart, checkout, shipment tracking and funds transfer
-Secure payment processing: escrow model for items that require in house authentication
-User points system: VIP content access, free shipping etc, that can be chosen when using their points balance. Points are allocated by the engagement the user has with us
-User account management
-Automated product authentication: To be a future GCP plug in (just a note in case this impacts the build - nothing else required at this stage)
