Need a modern, easy to use inhouse app to use for finance clients wanting historic financials/budgets etc
Initial idea is to upload the CSV and the system will read it and extract the merchant from the statement, it would then look up the merchant and automatically select the category based on the merchant's name. If the merchant does not exist, it would leave the category blank. You'd then see a table of the transactions where you can update the category per line and for new merchant's you can set a default category. Once done you can export the data to CSV so you can bring it into an accounting package
