I’m looking for a clean, dependable way to connect my existing WordPress-based booking system with Google Calendar. The integration must fire automatically the moment a booking is approved and keep both sides in step thereafter—new events, edits, cancellations, the whole lot—so that double-booking is impossible.
I’m open to whichever route gets us there most efficiently. I’ve already explored options such as WP Fusion (Lite), WP CalSync, WP Webhooks, straight .ics feeds, even automation platforms like Zapier or Power Automate. If you prefer writing a lean custom solution with Google’s API hooks, that works for me too. In other words, the toolset is your call as long as it stays free or low-cost and delivers reliable two-way sync with minimal maintenance.
