WordPress–Google Calendar Sync

Job ID: 39715139

Budget: $2 – $8 USD

I need my WordPress site to exchange data seamlessly with Google Calendar in both directions. Whenever an event is created, updated, or deleted on either platform—public or private—it must instantly reflect on the other without manual intervention. This should include titles, descriptions, dates, times, and any recurrence rules.

You’re free to work with an existing plugin, the Google Calendar API, WP-Cron, webhooks, or a custom solution, as long as the final setup is lightweight, secure, and easy for a non-technical admin to maintain.

Acceptance criteria
• Creating, editing, or deleting a public or private event in Google Calendar automatically updates WordPress.
• The same operations performed in WordPress push to Google Calendar just as reliably.
• No duplicate events or orphan records after bi-directional updates.
• Clear documentation of any code snippets, API credentials needed, and a one-page “how-to” for future site admins.

Please highlight past experience building two-way calendar integrations or similar WordPress API work when you reply.
