Project Goal:
Develop a fully functional, well-documented, secure, and user-friendly WordPress plugin that meets the specifications outlined below. The plugin should be production-ready and thoroughly tested within the 2-week timeframe.
Key Features & Requirements:
* Invoice Selection:
* Admin interface (within WooCommerce) to list all on-hold invoices.
* Filtering options: date range, order status, and search (by order ID or customer).
* Checkboxes to select multiple invoices for merging.
* Merging Logic:
* Create a new WooCommerce order representing the merged invoice.
* Copy customer data (billing and shipping) from the first selected order.
* Consolidate line items (products), shipping costs, fees, coupons, and taxes from all selected orders into the new order.
* Recalculate totals correctly.
* Handle different shipping addresses (option to choose which address to use).
* User Consistency:
* Crucially, the plugin must prevent merging orders from different users (either registered users with different IDs or guest users with different billing emails).
* If the same user has placed orders with different email addresses, provide an option (dropdown) for the admin to select which email address to use for the merged order.
* Admin Notation:
* Add a detailed, private order note to the newly created merged order.
