WhatsApp Cloud API Automation

I need a lightweight solution that connects Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API with my existing email channel so I can automate outgoing messages. The core goal is to trigger customer-engagement messages—think short updates, reminders or quick promos—without any manual intervention.

Here is what I have in mind:
• WhatsApp Cloud API should be the primary channel, with email acting as a fallback or parallel notification.
• A simple dashboard or config file where I can add or edit message templates.
• Webhook or event-based triggers (for example, new lead, order status change, upcoming appointment) that push the same content to both WhatsApp and email instantly.
• All code must be clearly documented so I can maintain it or hand it off to another developer later.

Acceptance Criteria
1. I can send a test message to a WhatsApp number and an email address simultaneously from a single trigger.
2. Message status (sent, delivered, failed) is logged and viewable.
3. Any required Meta approvals for templates are completed or clearly documented.

You may build the solution in Node, Python or another language you prefer—as long as it’s well structured and easy for me to deploy on a standard cloud VPS or serverless function.
