WhatsApp Appointment Reminder Tool

We are building a lightweight WhatsApp appointment reminder system for healthcare clinics.

This project is intentionally split into two stages:

V1: Internal use in our own clinic (no billing)
V1.5: Commercial‑ready version for onboarding other clinics (with Stripe billing)
We are looking for an experienced developer or small team comfortable with milestone‑based delivery and iteration based on real‑world usage.

This is a focused MVP, not a full messaging platform. The budget for this project is for V1. Upon successful completion we will arrange V1.5 after testing.

Stage 1 — V1 (Internal Clinic Use)

Goal:
Deploy a working reminder system in a single clinic so it can be tested in real operations for several weeks.

Scope:
Appointment Sync
Read upcoming appointments from an existing scheduling system via API
Required fields:
Patient name
Phone number
Appointment date/time
Practitioner name
WhatsApp Reminders
Automated WhatsApp reminders sent X hours before appointment
X configurable per clinic
Editable reminder message template
One WhatsApp Business number
Interactive Buttons

Each reminder should include:

Confirm
Cancel
Reschedule

Button handling:

Confirm → write a note back to the appointment record
Cancel / Reschedule → flag appointment for receptionist follow‑up (no automatic changes)
Admin Settings
Configure reminder timing
Edit reminder message
Basic reminder status (sent / failed)

Payments or billing
Multi‑clinic support
Shared inbox
Team assignment
Two‑way chat UI
