We are a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization seeking a proficient developer with expertise in call-based technology and API integration, tailored specifically to our requirements with Ringba for call tracking. Our focus is not on answering calls in real-time but on efficiently managing voicemails by transforming them into actionable text-based entries in our WordPress database, along with other available data and recordings. • Integrate a robust API connection between our Ringba dashboard, where we manage voicemail tracking and recordings, and our WordPress system, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
• Utilize your expertise in call technology to parse and transcribe voicemails into text-based entries within WordPress, creating a new User Type labeled as "Voicemails." This process should replicate the structure and fields used for current website lead users.
• Develop a system to analyze zip codes entered during calls, utilizing our extensive list of all U.S. zip codes to automatically populate the corresponding city and state in the voicemail user's profile in WordPress.
• Configure WordPress to include specific fields for user-entered zip codes, text transcriptions of voicemails, direct links to or downloads of voicemail recordings, originating phone numbers, and call timestamps.
• Note: We typically do not receive email addresses, so "voicemail" users should utilize our placeholder domain to create unique entries. However, voicemails may spell out or mention email addresses, and we are open to proposals for recognizing and populating these when possible.
• Evaluate and determine the best method for managing voicemail recordings, considering the availability of Ringba URL recordings and the potential need for password permissions versus the advisability of downloading and storing recordings on our server for more straightforward sharing and access.
• Ensure the solution upholds best practices in API design, data security, and user experience, focusing on the seamless integration of voicemail data into our existing WordPress framework.
• Aim to import the last three months of voicemail data initially, then ensure ongoing, real-time updates with new voicemails as they arrive.
