Stock, crypto like website to trade

I’m looking for a working prototype of an online stock-market like simulator focused exclusively on trading. The goal is to let a user sign up with a simple email-and-password flow, add real funds, and trade live prices.

Core scope for this initial build:
• Integrate a real-time price feed for key Asian equities through a reliable public or low-cost API.
• Create a trading engine that accepts market buy/sell orders, instantaneously applies the current price, and updates cash balance plus holdings.
• Provide a clean, responsive dashboard summarising cash, positions, and unrealised P/L in one glance.
• Implement secure email/password authentication with standard best practices (hashing, JWT or session-based, CSRF protection, etc.).
• Include a lightweight admin view so I can reset user accounts and set starting balances.

Tech stack is flexible—React or Vue on the front end and Node, Django, or similar on the back end are all acceptable. Use a relational database (MySQL, Postgres, or SQLite) unless you have a compelling alternative.

Deliverables:
1. Complete source code in a GitHub repo with clear README and setup steps.
2. Deployed demo on a free tier host (Heroku, Vercel, Netlify, etc.) for quick review.

Timeline: about two weeks from hire. If this phase goes smoothly, I’ll expand the same codebase later to add historical data analysis and additional markets. Please highlight any past work integrating financial APIs or building trading simulations when you respond.
