Spanish ERM Time-Tracking Module
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I am expanding our Spanish-language ERM that supports several furniture-manufacturing plants, and the next module I need is a built-in time-tracking solution. The goal is to capture every employee’s work hours automatically, tie each minute to a specific task and project, and feed the data straight into our existing payroll system so we can pay accurately and analyse project profitability in real time.
Key functional needs
• Automatic tracking only: once an employee starts work the system should detect activity, map it to the open project or task, and stop when they log out or become inactive. No manual entry or clock-in screens.
• Three metrics must be stored together in the database: total work hours, percent project progress, and explicit task completion flags.
• Seamless payroll integration: we already use a REST-based payroll engine; the module must push approved hours, overtime and task codes through that API on a configurable schedule.
• Spanish UI labels and messages throughout; the back-end may be in any language or framework as long as performance under 1 000 concurrent users remains solid.
• Reporting layer that lets supervisors filter by date range, project, employee and task, then export to CSV or PDF.
Acceptance criteria
– Automatic timer correctly starts/stops without user input on Windows and Android devices.
– Data appear in the ERM dashboard within 30 seconds of capture.
– Payroll API receives a valid JSON payload and returns HTTP 200 for every approved entry.
– All on-screen text is delivered in neutral Spanish.
Please outline the stack you prefer, how you will handle activity detection, and the estimated timeline for a production-ready release, including brief milestones for development, testing and deployment.
