Software Architecture Upgrade & Frontend Design + Upgrade current website software architecture to Laravel
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 AUD
It's important to note that this project is PROJECT BASED, which means it is paid on the successful completion and full operation of the project. This ensures that you will be fairly compensated for your work, not by the hour or how many hours or how many developers you put on the project.

We are in need of an experienced Laravel developer who can enhance and modernize our software web applications, databases, and 3rd party systems integration. The goal is to ensure seamless operation and to maintain our existing PHP web applications related to our eCommerce and Event Management Production systems.
While this project is a one-off offer, we are excited about the potential for a long-term partnership. If you exceed our standards and requirements for this project, we would be thrilled to consider the option of offering you a full-time 12-month contract. This could be a great opportunity for you to join our team on a more permanent basis.
The successful developer will have to work and be dedicated to working with Iconic Productions. We do not want people who simply outsource the work to someone else. Your commitment and responsibility to the project are crucial. You must be a sole Freelancer or a company with employed workers.

Essential Experience with a minimum of 4 years of prior similar work and experience in:
• Laravel framework (EXTREMELY ESSENTIAL)
• Bootstrapping
• PHP framework web applications
• MySQLi database (or equivalent),
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Supply own QA testers to ensure the product is functional and operational.
This project will include the following work to be carried out:
SCHEDULE A ‐ SERVICES
1. Upgrade our current software architecture from PHP 5 to the latest and stable version of PHP and use the Laravel framework.
2. Upgrade our database from MySQL to mysqli
3. Develop and design the FRONTEND e-commerce site of bookings website.
4. Upgrade our BackEnd for our site https://iconic.productions and bookings.iconicperformances.com.au and software architecture.
5. Program Development and Technical Support Services:
Refers to all Programming and Development of New, Current, and Existing systems, functions, and features, including technical support issues that result from an error or failure of a system, function, or feature that stops, minimizes, or affects the overall efficiency of any program, function or feature built or edited or adjusted by the Supplier. These include but are not limited to:
a. All new, upgrade or change features in current and upcoming applications.
b. Design and user interface of the Front End.
c. Design and interface of Back End, including
i. Cart system integration with the ERM,
ii. category and product taxonomy fixes,
iii. correcting speed issues with the website,
iv. caching issues,
v. database query optimization,
vi. investigate or help implement alternative payment methods,
vii. URL rewrite issues (SEO-friendly URLs), etc.
d. Design and interface of mobile-friendly design.
e. Custom modules in the Cart front end and back end admin framework.
6. Create an API to our current software architecture so that our different companies AND our clients who will use our software to integrate into their systems can use the programmed software but have their own database and website URLs.
7. Develop the software architecture to allow for the opportunity to sell space on our server so others can buy and use our software for their company (such as BigCommerce, or SalesForce etc).
In addition to this, the project will require you to use our Project Management System and SLACK Communication Program to liaise with me, including the following work.
