Simple Linux File Audit Program
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
In Linux systems, file modifications (creation or changes) are tracked and their hashes (SHA-256) are computed. The hash information is then queried against an external file information API. If no existing information is found, the file is sent to a separate system that generates the information, which is then retrieved. Each information request is cached for a certain period to ensure consistent responses for subsequent identical requests.
