Secure Crypto Payments Integration
Budget: €18 – €50 EUR
My e-commerce site is a fully custom PHP build and not on-line now because i need to start taking cryptocurrency. The immediate goal is to integrate Bitcoin and Litecoin payments end-to-end, maintain a tamper-proof transaction log I can query from the admin panel, and harden the flow against common exploits.
Because the store doesn’t sit on Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento, off-the-shelf plugins aren’t an option; the codebase will need a clean API integration. I am open to whichever gateway—Coinbase Commerce, BitPay, CoinGate, or another—that you feel best suits a PHP environment and long-term maintainability. Please be prepared to justify your recommendation.
Key outcomes I’m expecting:
• Seamless checkout option for Bitcoin and Litecoin alongside my existing methods
• Server-side recording of every payment event (confirmation status, amount, wallet address, timestamps)
• Robust security practices: HTTPS enforcement, signature verification, webhook validation, protected keys, and clear separation of public/private data
• Written deployment notes so I can replicate the setup on staging and future servers
Before accepting the task, please study the code (currently running on WampServer), and also be prepared to justify your payment acceptance architecture based on the current code and security requirements.
