Runtime API Hooking Instrumentation Project
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
The task at hand is to design and code a robust, highly-performant runtime function-hooking layer that lets me modify app behaviour on the fly. My main goal is modding—changing what the target application does in real time—rather than simply logging or passively analysing it.
Target platforms (must be fully supported):
• Windows
• Android
API hooking will be the core technique; if you can complement that with DLL injection, Frida scripts, or other low-level methods, all the better, so long as the final solution stays lean, stable, and compatible across OS versions.
I’d like to see examples of similar work you’ve already shipped, hear your thoughts on a realistic timeline, and agree on a phased cost structure. Once we connect, I’ll share the technical specs, test apps and acceptance criteria in detail so you can scope the effort precisely.
