React App Feature Expansion
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m ready to roll out the next release of my React + Node.js application and need an engineer who can jump straight into an established code-base. The goal is to layer in three core capabilities: robust user authentication, real-time data updates, and seamless integration with several third-party services that I’ll specify once we start (API keys and documentation are already on hand).
The stack you’ll be working with is React on the client side and Node/Express on the server, so familiarity with modern React patterns, JWT or similar auth flows, WebSockets or Socket.io for live updates, and clean integration techniques for external REST/GraphQL APIs is essential. I value readable, well-commented code and incremental commits so that I can follow the progress easily.
Deliverables I need from you:
• Updated front-end and back-end code implementing the three features above
• Clear setup notes and README additions for any new environment variables or service accounts
• Basic unit or integration tests covering the new functionality
Once the features are stable in a staging branch we’ll schedule a quick hand-off walkthrough and I’ll take care of production deployment myself. If you’ve recently tackled similar upgrades, I’d love to see a repo or demo link when you reply so I can gauge fit quickly.
