Backend Engineer (Python) – Sports & Betting Data
What You’ll Work On:
Develop robust Python services to ingest and process odds, schedules, injuries, and score data from multiple external sources.
Architect real-time feed aggregation systems, ensuring low-latency delivery to both frontend interfaces and external clients.
Design and implement modeling pipelines for pre-match and in-play odds, leveraging sports and financial data.
Scale and optimize our AWS-based infrastructure, using services like Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, and more.
Support our API feed customers by providing reliable, developer-friendly data delivery systems.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of backend development experience, with a solid grasp of Python.
Hands-on experience with serverless or distributed systems on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, etc.).
Proven ability to integrate APIs and manage high-volume, dynamic data streams.
Comfortable designing and building clean, reliable, and low-latency services.
Previous experience or knowledge in betting, financial trading, or sports data is a major plus.
Self-starter with the ability to thrive in lean teams and startup environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a remote-first setting with high autonomy.
