Prestashop / APi speed up

Hi we have a running Prestashop , set as marketplace, using tier API backend (Ps is just the frontend).
Site is up and rungin but slow. We need to speed up process, and pinpoint if this would be tier API to blame / Ask to fix or our part (then fix it).
Project is not very complex for real prestashop expert with API knowledge.
