Polymarket Trading Bot Overhaul

I already run a live Polymarket trading bot, but the copy-trading logic it’s built on has lost its edge. The goal now is to transform it into a true market-making engine that delivers consistently profitable, highly accurate trades.
Priority focus
• Trade accuracy: every quote and fill must match the intended price and size—no more slippage-ridden or mis-routed orders.
• Robustness: the system has to survive network hiccups, API quirks, and unusual market states without manual babysitting.
• Code quality: modular structure, clear documentation, unit tests, and straightforward scalability for future strategy tweaks.
Scope of work
1. Audit the current codebase to pinpoint weaknesses in pricing logic, risk checks, and error handling.
2. Design and implement a market-making strategy tailored to Polymarket’s order-book micro-structure, including dynamic spreads, inventory management, and quote refresh logic.
3. Refactor or extend the bot so components are cleanly separated and easy to maintain.
4. Add comprehensive logging, alerting, and graceful recovery routines.
5. Prove the upgrade with historical back-tests and a forward test on a small live stake; accuracy of executed prices versus theoretical quotes is the key acceptance criterion.
The stack is flexible as long as it interfaces cleanly with the Polymarket API and runs headlessly on a Linux VPS. Deliver the full source, a requirements file, and a concise README that spins the bot up in one command. Demonstrable experience with market-making or arbitrage bots on prediction markets or DEXs will be highly valued.
