Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, implement, and optimize
enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in
OutSystems, API integrations, UI development, and performance optimization while ensuring
scalability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:
 Design and implement new features and enhancements to improve application
performance.
 Maintain referential integrity between different data sets or tables in OutSystems.
 Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in existing applications, ensuring timely
response times for large datasets.
 Work with business stakeholders to ensure that system enhancements do not result in
technical debt.
 Implement workflows using Business Process Technology (BPT) and manage
synchronization using webhooks.
 Handle API downtime and ensure data synchronization without duplication.
 Implement delete rules (Protect, Ignore, Delete) in various scenarios, and display
relevant warnings (pop-ups) before deletion.
 Work with Out Systems system entities (e.g., Entity Attribute) to automatically
identify and display records referenced by the record a user is trying to delete.

Technical Skills:
 Strong knowledge and experience with OutSystems platform.
 Experience working with API integrations and Excel data imports into Out Systems.
 Proficiency in handling referential integrity and working with different types of
actions in Out Systems.
 Experience with server actions vs service actions and knowing when to use each.
 Proficient in implementing delete rules (Protect, Delete, Ignore) and implementing
pop-ups to warn users of dependencies before deleting records.
 Experience with timers and optimizing them for patch processing.
 Proficiency in query optimization, aggregate tuning, and large dataset handling.

 Must have expert-level experience in designing and delivering responsive, high-
quality user interfaces using OutSystems UI framework, custom themes, and
advanced CSS/JavaScript.
 Proven track record of developing reusable, scalable UI components and layouts that
ensure consistency, branding, and accessibility across multiple enterprise applications.
 Ability to implement dynamic, interactive, and role-based UIs with real-time updates,
dashboards, charts, pop-ups, and conditional rendering for enhanced user experience.
 Strong skills in front-end performance optimization to ensure fast rendering, minimal
load times, and smooth handling of large datasets.

Desired Skills:
 Experience with performance optimization (e.g., reducing report generation times).
 Ability to design and implement dynamic solutions for handling large datasets in
reports.
 Familiarity with Business Process Technology (BPT) and workflows in OutSystems.
 Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with business teams to
ensure requirements are met.

Requirements:
 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Out Systems.
 Proven ability to manage technical debt and optimize applications without
compromising performance.
 Strong experience in managing referential integrity and database designs.
