Open-Source MXScript Technical Maintainer

Technical Maintainer for Open Source Language (MXScript)

I’m building MXScript, a lightweight scripting language for creating one-file web APIs.

I’m looking for a technical maintainer to help turn this into a serious, production-ready open-source project.

Responsibilities:
- Review and approve pull requests
- Maintain and improve the core language/runtime
- Ensure code quality and consistency
- Define coding standards and structure
- Fix bugs and improve error handling
- Manage releases and versioning
- Support and improve the VS Code extension
- Guide contributors on technical decisions
- Work with AI-generated code and refine it

Requirements:
- Strong experience with JavaScript/Node.js or similar
- Experience with interpreters, compilers, or scripting languages (preferred)
- Comfortable reviewing open-source contributions
- Solid understanding of APIs and backend systems
- Experience using GitHub (PRs, issues, branching)

Nice to have:
- Experience maintaining an open-source project
- Experience with developer tools or programming languages
- Familiarity with VS Code extensions

This is a part-time role to start.
