OCR service with barcode recognition
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The support is needed for process of scanning paper documents with a cover page, which holds a barcode. All documents should be scanned without OCR recognition and later saved as PDF. Besides of the PDF - the barcode value must be stored in a separate xml file and hold the same file name as the scanned PDF file. A barcode cover page must also act as an job separator - means if a first cover page is scanning, it only must take paper documents for the first job until another cover page is following with additional paper document's - means each pile of documents has to be separated by the barcode on the cover sheet. Sending scanned PDF and XML documents via REST API would be the optimum - but this can be discussed.
I need as below follows
1. Lightweight OCR service with
--Bar code recognition capability (incl. at least Code 39, Code 128, EAN, QR codes)
--functional REST API to receive and send PDF documents and XML files (open source libraries accepted)
--API with https extension capability
--capability to define the structure of the XML file
--capability to save scanned PDF and output XML to a folder location
--capability to group and separate groups of documents as described
--possibility to install/deploy on Windows server 2012+
2. Usage documentation incl installation and deployment instructions
3. Source code if custom code used
4. Additional deliverables to be agreed
