I have an existing Gemini TTS implementation written in PHP, backed by detailed internal documentation and a well-structured repository. The core integration is already up and running; what I need now is an experienced PHP developer who can dive in, clean up the remaining bugs, and push the system forward through targeted customisation.

Your focus will be twofold:

1. UI enhancements – smoothing rough edges in the current front-end layer so users can select voices, preview clips, and adjust synthesis parameters without friction.
2. System performance improvements – profiling the PHP routines that talk to Gemini’s APIs, refactoring bottlenecks, and tightening response times under load.

Alongside these upgrades, you’ll be expected to identify and resolve any lingering bugs you spot along the way, writing concise Git commits and documenting the fix in-line with our existing guidelines.

Acceptance criteria:
• Updated UI elements load and respond seamlessly across modern browsers.
• Average synthesis request latency reduced according to the benchmarks we’ll set together at project kickoff.
• All resolved issues are covered by unit or functional tests and pass in our CI pipeline.

The stack you’ll touch includes plain PHP 8, Composer for autoloading, and a sprinkling of JavaScript on the client side; familiarity with cURL, Guzzle, or similar HTTP clients will help when tuning the API calls.
