Frontend Website Development and Proxy Server Set-Up

Job ID: 39412274

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need a skilled web developer to build a frontend website (Website B) that replicates login/register functionality of an existing platform .

I own Website A's backend and its API — but I will not be sharing backend code or direct access.
You will build Website B using a frontend framework (React, Vue, or standard HTML/JS)
All API interactions should go through a custom proxy server you will set up to handle CORS restrictions.

What You Will Do:
Frontend Development (Website B)

Clone or redesign the login/register pages based on a reference (provided)

Ensure responsive, modern layout using Bootstrap, Tailwind, or equivalent

Handle form validation and basic UI logic

Create Proxy Layer (Node.js or PHP preferred)

Build a proxy server that receives frontend requests (e.g., login, register)

Forward these requests to the actual API of Website A

Relay the response back to Website B frontend

Ensure all CORS issues are avoided (by terminating requests on proxy server)

Security & Best Practices

Use HTTPS if needed (I'll handle SSL if domain provided)

Sanitize and log errors securely

Optional: add rate limiting or IP filtering

Testing Requirements:
The user should be able to:

Register an account

Login using valid credentials

All interactions should pass through your proxy

The final website (Website B) must run independently without backend access to Website A

Skills Required:
React.js or HTML/CSS/Bootstrap (for frontend)

Node.js with Express or PHP (for proxy server)

Strong understanding of:

CORS policy

Fetch/Axios API handling

Middleware logic (for request forwarding)

(Bonus) Familiarity with debugging tools like Postman, Beeceptor

Deliverables:
Frontend source code (HTML/React files)

Proxy server code (Node.js/PHP)

Instructions for setup (how to host the proxy + frontend)

Optional: Deployed version on a test subdomain (e.g., Netlify + Render)
