Fix Trading Bot and Strategy Developer / Algorithmic Trading Developers (Crypto & Multi-Asset)

My crypto / multi-asset trading bot is built entirely in Python on a custom platform. It connects to several exchange APIs, streams live order-book data, makes decisions in real time, and then routes orders back to the venues. Lately, the software has begun to hang unexpectedly—sometimes it locks up after a few minutes, other times it can run for hours before freezing. No trades are placed while it is stuck, which makes the whole strategy unusable.
I need someone who can dive into the existing Python codebase, trace the root cause of these crashes or deadlocks, and deliver a solid fix that keeps the bot running 24/7. You are free to refactor modules, optimise memory usage, tighten up thread / asyncio handling, or overhaul any API wrapper that proves unreliable, as long as the external behaviour of the strategy remains unchanged.
Key points you’ll tackle:
• Diagnose and resolve the runtime freeze or crash on my custom stack.
• Preserve the current strategy logic and risk parameters.
• Implement logging and fault-tolerance so future issues surface clearly rather than silently hanging.
• Test the repaired bot against live and paper environments to confirm stability across multiple assets and exchanges.
Deliverables:
1. Updated, well-commented Python code (Git repo or ZIP).
2. A concise report outlining the bug’s cause and the corrective steps.
3. Demonstration of uninterrupted performance in a 24-hour paper-trade session.
