Fix Opencart Waboxapp API

Our Opencart store has relied on the waboxapp API for about seven years to pipe WhatsApp conversations into our back-office. Everything ran smoothly until last week, when the integration simply stopped. The original error points to an “API key invalid or expired” problem.

I already generated a fresh key inside waboxapp, copied it into the same place in our PHP code where the old one lived, and confirmed that the new key carries identical permissions. Despite this, no data is flowing and customers’ WhatsApp messages never reach the site.

What I need from you:
• Identify why the new key is being rejected (token mismatch, endpoint change, webhook signature, etc.).
• Update or refactor the Opencart–PHP code so the waboxapp API handshake succeeds again.
• Verify that incoming WhatsApp messages appear in our admin panel exactly as before.
• Provide a concise summary of the changes so I can keep them for future key rotations.

You’ll have full cPanel and Opencart admin access, plus the new waboxapp credentials. Once everything is working—confirmed by a live test conversation—I’ll mark the job complete.
