Fix Fury cTrader cBot

Job ID: 40632110

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

My Fury cBot was running flawlessly until cTrader moved from 5.9.4 to 5.9.5. Since that update—and now on 5.9.10—back-testing inside Algo simply freezes without throwing an error. Live trading logic, compilation and optimisation screens still load, yet the back-test never progresses beyond the first tick.

I have already reached out to Pepperstone support and to Andreas Kosta at Spotware; their advice was to engage a developer to pinpoint whatever incompatibility the latest build introduced. I have not altered the original C# code, only re-installed the platform and cleared cache, so the fault appears to be version-specific rather than data corruption.

What I need from you
• Audit the existing C# source for deprecated or newly restricted API calls introduced after 5.9.4.
• Refactor or replace those calls so the strategy can complete a full back-test in the current 5.9.10 environment.
• Deliver a compiled .algo plus the updated source, with brief release notes outlining the change set.

Acceptance
I will consider the job complete once the cBot back-tests end-to-end on my machine with no stalls and performance profits matching (or reasonably close to) pre-5.9.5 results.

If you regularly work with cTrader’s latest APIs, this should be a straightforward. I’m on Australia Eastern time, but I’m flexible with messaging or a quick screen-share should you need to replicate the issue.
