Fix API & Migrate Website
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I built my site using AI-generated code, but a few critical pieces still need a human touch. Right now several API endpoints refuse to respond, and the data that does get through is not processed the way it should be. I need you to dig into the code, restore every broken route, and make sure the incoming requests are correctly validated, parsed, and saved.
Once the API is running smoothly, I’d like the entire project moved to a new host (I’ll share the login once we start). That means copying all files, databases, and environment variables, setting up SSL, and making sure DNS changes propagate without downtime. When you’re done, the site should behave exactly the same—or better—on the new server.
Deliverables
• Fully functional API: all endpoints respond and return correct data
• Verified data flow: requests are processed, stored, and returned accurately
• Seamless hosting transfer: codebase, database, SSL, and domains live on the new provider
• Final hand-off document summarising changes, updated configs, and any credentials I need to keep safe
