1) Pull stock market data from various APIs (e.g., Yahoo Finance, IEX Cloud, Alpha Vantage) in real-time or at regular intervals. handling API rate limits, data parsing etc
2) Code based on the LOGIC pre-defined by the Client company. This involves using libraries like Pandas and NumPy. The developer must ensure the back-end is scalable and can handle thousands of data points without performance degradation.
3) Algorithm and Indicator Implementation: Implement various technical indicators (e.g., Moving Averages, RSI, MACD)
4) Automation and Scheduling: Automate the entire scanning process to run at specific times (e.g., before market open or after market close).
5) Testing and Maintenance: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the scanner's logic is accurate and the data being processed is correct. The developer is also responsible for debugging issues, optimizing performance.
