Experienced Laravel Developer with AWS Expertise to Fix Course Upload Functionality

Job ID: 39618145

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

We are seeking a skilled Laravel developer with AWS integration experience to resolve an issue in our course management system where file uploads (via the admin panel) fail to transfer successfully to AWS S3 using API integrations. The upload process currently works locally but breaks when attempting to store files on AWS.

Key Requirements

Diagnose and resolve the file upload failure in the Laravel application when attempting to store files on AWS S3 via API integrations.
Ensure seamless AWS S3 integration for file storage, including:
Correctly configured AWS SDK for PHP (e.g., league/flysystem-aws-s3-v3).
Proper handling of file streams, permissions, and metadata.
Validation of file types, sizes, and error handling during uploads.

Fix API-related issues where the admin panel fails to communicate with AWS during file transfers (e.g., CORS errors, token expiration, or misconfigured endpoints).
Update environment configurations (e.g., .env files, IAM roles, AWS credentials) to ensure secure and reliable access to AWS resources.
Test and document the solution thoroughly, including edge cases (e.g., large files, network interruptions).

Ideal Skills and Experience

Proven Laravel expertise , particularly with file uploads, filesystem drivers, and API integrations.
Deep knowledge of AWS S3 and experience using it for file storage in PHP applications.
Familiarity with Laravel’s filesystem abstraction (Storage::disk('s3')) and AWS SDK for PHP.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON/XML payloads, and debugging tools (e.g., Postman, AWS CloudWatch).
Experience configuring AWS IAM roles , buckets, and permissions for secure file transfers.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail to identify root causes (e.g., misconfigured headers, CORS policies, or timeout limits).
