Experienced Backend Developer for AI Video Ad Generation App

We are looking for an experienced backend developer to start ASAP and fully dedicate time to architecting and building the backend for a web app that generates video ads using AI. This will require full-time focus and intense commitment, with no other concurrent responsibilities.

The backend will handle user management, content storage (and sync operations with vector databases), AI-native components (for text & video generation and semantic searches) and batch-scheduled processes (e.g. video rendering). The system needs to be scalable, modular, and well-documented for seamless front-end integration.

Most **AI-native components** will be handled by our dev team—your role is to **lay the technical foundation,** ensure the system is structured for long-term scalability, and develop the necessary components to get the app into a production-ready state.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in AWS, FastAPI, Supabase, and asynchronous processing, with experience in API integrations (e.g. LLMs, voice synthesis, footage retrieval), caching strategies (Redis), and distributed microservices to ensure high performance and scalability. A solid understanding of creating back-ends for content generation platforms, and the ability to optimize system architecture to handle performance bottlenecks is essential.
