Debug PHP API Script

Job ID: 40009530

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a small PHP script that consumes a third-party REST API. The call goes through, but the script crashes midway through execution. An error message is shown at that point, so I do have something concrete to share with you; you won’t be flying blind.

You’ll get the current PHP file, the exact error output, and a quick rundown of how the request should behave when it’s healthy. Your task is to locate the root cause—whether it’s a cURL setting, a mishandled JSON response, memory limit, or something else—then adjust the code so it completes successfully and returns the data I expect every time.

Please keep the original structure intact unless a refactor is absolutely necessary. Once it’s working, add a few concise inline comments so I can follow the fix.

Deliverables:
• Repaired PHP script ready for production
• Brief changelog or comment block explaining what you altered

If you’ve debugged PHP-based API integrations before, this should be quick. Let me know your estimated turnaround and I’ll send over the files and error trace right away.
