Description:
I need an expert to help me set up and debug Instagram “mentions” webhooks using the Meta (Facebook) Developer platform.
My goal is to receive real-time webhook notifications when my Instagram Business account is mentioned in stories, posts, or reels. The setup is almost done, but webhooks are not firing when tested from real Instagram mentions, even though test requests from the developer portal work.

What’s needed:

Diagnose and fix the webhook/subscription so that it works with real Instagram mentions

Ensure correct app/tester setup, permissions, and webhook subscription to mentions

Guide me (or do for me) adding Instagram Testers and accepting invites

Make sure all relevant Meta permissions (instagram_manage_mentions, etc.) are properly set up

Assist with troubleshooting any Facebook Developer portal errors or permission issues

(Optional) Review and improve my NestJS backend webhook handling code

Requirements:

Experience with Instagram Graph API, Facebook Developer platform, and webhooks

Familiarity with debugging webhook delivery, Meta permissions, and tester workflows

Good communicator who can explain what’s wrong and how to fix it
