Configure API | Retail Inventory to Marketplace
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Burrows Jewellers is a retail jewellery store who wish to sell selected products via online marketplace Catch.com.au.
The aim of this project is to automatically load inventory from our inventory solution into Catch via an API.
The successful applicant will need to work with the respective parties to set-up, configure and manage the inventory via API connection.
Burrows Jewellers' product inventory is managed via a third party solution provided by Retail Edge. Retail Edge have two products which will be utilized to provide our side of the solution;
• The Edge - inventory management / Point of Sale (POS) solution specifically for Retail Jewellers. The solution has an on-site sever along with workstations and POS terminals.
• eWeb - The eWeb system is a cloud-based web service provided to website developers working for Retail Edge clients. It facilitates the ability to retrieve information from the client’s Point Of Sale software, (The Edge,) in order for use in other projects such as website development for the client
Catch Marketplace is a curated Australian E-commerce platform owned by Catch.com.au that allows selected third-party sellers to sell their products alongside Catch’s in-stock offerings. Catch has various methods for sellers to load their Products (inventory) and Offers into the Catch Market place. The most automated method is via an API.
Burrows Jewellers is sourcing a partner to understand both the Retail Edge and Catch API requirements and then setup the relevant connections to allow the automatic loading of Products and Offers from Retail Edge to Catch.
