Betfair Historical Data Access Tool

We are looking for an experienced developer to create a console-based tool for accessing and processing Betfair historical data, specifically for football (soccer) markets. The primary objective is for this tool to be capable of downloading, processing, and generating CSV files with the relevant information.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop a robust and efficient tool to interact with the Betfair Historical Data API.
Automate the download, extraction, and initial parsing of historical market data files (e.g., .tar, .bz2, JSON contents).
Implement functionalities to filter and extract relevant data points (e.g., Last Traded Price, market definitions, basic volume data).
Transform the processed data into a clean and structured CSV format.
Design a user-friendly console interface for selecting date ranges, market types, and executing downloads/processing.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven hands-on experience with the Betfair API (specifically the Historical Data API). This is a MUST-HAVE.
Strong experience in software development and API consumption.
Ability to handle and process large volumes of data.
Experience with data parsing (JSON, compressed files).
Understanding of sports betting market data (Match Odds, Over/Under, etc.) is a plus.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
