Beginner GraphQL API Docs Assistance
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I’m looking to polish and expand the beginner-level documentation for my GraphQL API. I already have a rough draft that outlines the schema, but the sections on Queries and Mutations are thin and sometimes inconsistent.
Here’s what I need from you: refine what’s there, fill the gaps, and produce clear, concise explanations that developers new to GraphQL can follow without second-guessing themselves. Real-world examples, sample requests and responses, argument tables, and short code snippets in cURL or JavaScript will make a big difference. Where errors are likely, flag them and show the correct patterns.
You can work directly in Markdown so I can drop it into our existing docs site. I’ll share the current doc set, schema files, and a Postman collection as soon as we start so you can see exactly how the endpoints behave. Deliverables are the updated Markdown files plus any supporting screenshots or diagrams you think are useful. Once complete, I’ll run through them with a small group of new devs; if they can get a query and a mutation running on the first try, we’re golden.
