Basic WhatsApp Integration Prototype

I want to see a working, end-to-end proof of concept that hooks the WhatsApp Business API to a tiny CRUD feature—think of a “to-do” list where items can be added, read, updated, and deleted directly from a WhatsApp chat. I’m not chasing advanced chatbots or NLP right now; a minimal, reliable flow is perfect as long as it demonstrates the core pieces talking to each other.

Here’s what I need to walk through seamlessly:

• A verified connection to the WhatsApp Business API, able to send and receive messages in real time.
• A lightweight backend (Node.js, Python, Rails—whatever you’re fastest with) that exposes a single REST endpoint for the CRUD operations.
• A stripped-down web UI that mimics a WhatsApp conversation so I can demo the flow in a browser.

If you have a previous WhatsApp Business API demo, or code you can screen-share, that will help me decide quickly. All I really care about is seeing messages originate on WhatsApp, hit the backend, update the dummy data store, and return a confirmation back into the chat and the browser view. Clean code, clear setup instructions, and anything I need to reproduce the flow locally will count as completion.
