I need an application that takes the manual work out of sending, tracking, and closing stock orders. The core of the project is a robust engine that can route orders instantly to the brokerage API, confirm execution in real time, and maintain an audit-ready log of every event along the way. Speed, reliability, and rock-solid error handling matter more to me than fancy front-end visuals, so I’m happy to keep the interface minimal if that helps you optimise performance.
Key tasks for you:
• Design a secure connection layer (REST, FIX, or WebSocket—whatever you judge fastest and most stable) that authenticates, submits orders, and listens for fills and rejections without human intervention.
• Build a lightweight dashboard where I can see each order’s life-cycle at a glance and download the full execution history when needed.
• Implement configurable risk controls (max position size, daily loss limit, connection heartbeat), all editable from a simple settings panel.
• Deliver clean, well-documented source code plus short deployment instructions so I can spin the system up on a fresh server in minutes.
I’ll test the final build by running a mock trading session and verifying that every order routes, fills, and journals correctly without manual refreshes. Once those checks pass, the milestone is complete.
