Automate Online Customer Data
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking to set up a streamlined customer-data workflow that pulls new orders straight from my online store and funnels them into a central database or lightweight CRM without any manual entry. Every new transaction should automatically create or update the corresponding customer record so I always have an up-to-date view of who bought what and when.
Here’s what I need done:
• Connect to the store’s transaction feed (it’s a typical e-commerce platform with API access and webhooks available).
• Capture core details from each order—customer name, email, items purchased, totals, timestamps—and map them into structured fields.
• Prevent duplicates by matching on email/order ID and merge records when the same customer buys again.
• Provide a simple dashboard or exportable report so I can quickly filter customers by recent purchases, product categories, or date ranges.
You’re free to recommend the tech stack—MySQL, PostgreSQL, Airtable, Google Sheets + Apps Script, or a no-code platform—as long as the data sync stays automatic and reliable. If you’ve built something similar with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or comparable APIs, that experience will help.
Deliverable: a working solution I can log into, see my live customer list, and download CSV reports when needed, plus concise setup documentation so I can maintain it going forward.
