Assignment Title: Creation of an Streaming Platform API from Scratch with Advanced Dataweave and Comprehensive MuleSoft Functionalities
Objective: The main goal of the assignment is to create an Application Programming Interface (API) using the MuleSoft platform. This API should be built from scratch, incorporating a high level of DataWeave transformations and extensive use of MuleSoft functionalities.

1) API Design: The API's design must be detailed and coherent, clearly outlining each endpoint and its functionality. It should be created with RAMI...
2) DataWeave 2.0: The API should be designed to effectively manipulate data payload using DataWeave 2.0. You will be expected to showcase your efficiency in handling complex data transformations, aggregations, groupings etc..
3) Error Handling: The API should have appropriate error handling methods for ensuring smooth functioning when deployed and void of any discrepancies.
4) Security: Implementation of security layers is paramount. Inclusion of policies like Rate Limiting, IP Whitelisting, OAuth 2.0 and Layer 7 rules, showcasing a good understanding of the Anypoint Platform's in-built security and threat protection capabilities.
5) Scalability and Performance: The API should be designed with consideration of scalability and performance. It should be optimized in order to handle high loads and significant numbers of concurrent users.
6) Testing: Use MUnit for creating unit tests to ensure that the API runs correctly. Completely test your API in different conditions and provide a test report along with the project.
7) Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy your API into a test environment within CloudHub and set up API monitoring using Anypoint Monitoring. A comprehensive report on the API's performance in the test environment should also be provided.

8) Documentation: Lastly, a detailed report should be prepared explaining the API's overall structure, functionalities, choice of transformations, error handling procedures, and results of testing and performance monitoring.
