API Issue Fix Expert Needed
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
Our in-house application relies on a custom, non-REST API written largely in JavaScript. Over time we have noticed authentication hiccups, inconsistent data retrieval, and periodic slow-downs that don’t show up in our normal logs. I need someone who can drop into the existing codebase, isolate the root causes, and deliver clean, well-documented fixes without disrupting production traffic.
You should feel comfortable tracing asynchronous JavaScript, working with bespoke request/response formats, and tightening any security gaps you uncover. If you typically lean on Postman, New Relic, Swagger or similar tools that’s great, but I’m open to whatever stack helps you surface the problems quickly—as long as the final solution is rock solid.
Deliverables I expect:
• A concise report pinpointing each issue and the underlying cause
• Updated code or configuration that resolves the authentication, data retrieval, and performance problems
• Brief implementation notes so my team can maintain the changes
• A lightweight test or monitoring routine we can run to confirm stability going forward
When you reply, give me a short overview of similar custom-protocol debugging work you’ve tackled, the tools you plan to start with, and a rough outline of your approach. The clearer your plan, the sooner we can get you into the repo.
