API Encryption DevSecOps Urgent

Our internal APIs are live, but the data flowing through them still needs end-to-end protection. I need you to jump in right away and embed strong data-encryption controls across the entire pipeline:

• At transit – enforce TLS 1.3 (or mTLS where feasible) on every endpoint.
• At rest – apply AES-256 encryption on databases, object storage, and any intermediate queues.
• Key management – automate rotation through Vault, KMS, or a comparable secrets manager and make sure audit logs prove it’s happening.
• CI/CD integration – wire the above into our existing Git-based workflow so every new deployment inherits the same policies.
• Validation – provide test scripts (Postman/Insomnia or automated) showing encrypted traffic, failed attempts on non-TLS ports, and successful key rotation events.
• Documentation – a concise runbook that explains the configuration, how to roll forward or back, and how to add new services without breaking encryption.

Acceptance is straightforward: reproducible tests must pass on staging, and an engineer unfamiliar with the project should be able to follow your runbook and verify encryption in under 30 minutes.

When you reply, include past work that demonstrates you have rolled out data-encryption on APIs before—links, screenshots, or repo snippets are fine. No need for a lengthy proposal; proof of experience speaks louder.
