ACS Demographic Data Download Help
Budget: $30 – $150 USD
I need demographic data retrieved from the ACS Census API. The deliverable should be Python code that downloads the specified ACS data and outputs it in CSV format.
Requirements
- Use of the ACS Census API (and, where applicable, Decennial Census and Population Estimates Program, all available from the U.S. Census Bureau)
- Data pulled at the county level
- Support for a specified range of years
- Output of the final data in CSV format
- Delivery of Python code that performs the full data extraction and CSV export
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Strong familiarity with APIs, especially the ACS Census API
- Experience handling, transforming, and exporting data
- Ability to deliver high-quality results quickly
