Web Application QA Testing

Job ID: 40380120

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a general-purpose web application that is approaching release and I want a fresh set of eyes to verify its quality end-to-end. Your main focus will be manual testing, covering the user interface, the behaviour of any embedded or third-party plugins, and the application’s overall performance. All core flows must be exercised on desktop Chrome, Firefox and Edge; other devices are not a priority right now, but feel free to note anything you spot while exploring.

Here’s how I picture the engagement: you’ll draft clear, traceable test cases first, walk them through, log every defect with concise steps and screenshots, then circle back for a short regression run once fixes land. If you have basic Selenium skills, you’re welcome to automate a smoke suite—totally optional but appreciated.

Deliverables
• Test case matrix (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Structured bug log with severity, reproducible steps and evidence
• Final test summary report highlighting coverage, open issues and recommendations
(Any lightweight Selenium scripts can be supplied in a separate repo or zip.)

I use JIRA for tracking, so familiarity there will help us move fast. Solid experience in manual web testing and disciplined documentation are the key selection points. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s ensure this application ships rock-solid for its users.
