Software Testing Internship Opportunity
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I’m opening a hands-on internship for someone who wants real-world experience testing our customer-facing web applications. You’ll be involved from day one in writing, executing, and documenting tests against the latest builds that go live to thousands of users each week.
The core of the role is functional and regression testing performed both manually and through automation. Because the product team ships quickly, you’ll need to switch comfortably between exploratory click-through sessions and scripted Selenium suites. We already have a growing collection of automated tests, so you’ll help extend coverage, refactor brittle scripts, and flag flaky tests before they hit CI.
To fit in smoothly you should already be comfortable with:
• Automated testing tools – our stack centres on Selenium; knowledge of Postman for API checks and JIRA for bug tracking is essential.
• Solid manual testing practices – clear reproducible steps, edge-case thinking, and concise reporting.
• Bug tracking software – you’ll log defects in JIRA and follow them through to closure.
Familiarity with Cypress or JUnit would be welcomed if you have it, but it’s not mandatory.
What you’ll deliver during the internship:
• Well-structured test cases added to our repository.
• Updated or newly written Selenium scripts that run cleanly in our pipeline.
• Detailed, actionable bug reports in JIRA with screenshots, logs, or HAR files as needed.
• A short weekly summary highlighting coverage achieved, defects found, and next steps.
By the end of the placement you’ll have shipped real tests to production and gained a clear understanding of agile QA workflows in a fast-moving web environment.
