Functional QA for UI & API - 31/05/2026 01:43 EDT

Job ID: 40480681

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need a seasoned tester to run a full round of functional QA on our web application. The scope is clear: validate the desktop user interface (Chrome only) and exercise every public API endpoint.

On the UI side you will confirm that all screens, forms, and workflows behave as designed in Chrome, paying close attention to edge cases and regression areas flagged in our last sprint. Mobile and tablet views are out of scope for this phase, so your effort can stay tightly focused on the desktop experience.

For the APIs, I will share our staging base URL, authentication keys, and an initial Postman collection. Feel free to enrich that collection—or replace it with RestAssured, SoapUI, or another tool you prefer—to cover positive, negative, and boundary scenarios. You will be checking response codes, payload structures, and any business-logic rules captured in our Swagger/OpenAPI spec.

Deliverables
• A concise test plan detailing coverage for the Chrome UI and each API endpoint
• Executed test cases with pass/fail results and evidence (screenshots, HAR files, or Postman snippets)
• A defect log in Jira that includes clear repro steps, severity, and suggested fixes
• A final summary report highlighting risk areas and recommendations

All testing must be completed against the current staging build; once issues are resolved, you will retest and close them. Share your estimated turnaround time and any initial questions so we can kick things off right away.
