Software Functional Tester
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I need a seasoned test engineer who can own our quality stream end-to-end on a full-time schedule. The work spans both UI and API testing, so you’ll be switching comfortably between browser-based scenarios and direct endpoint validation throughout the sprint.
Inside Jira you’ll be managing test artefacts with either Xray, Vansah or Zephyr. Daily hands-on activity includes writing and maintaining test cases, executing them against every build, logging clear defects, and tracking them through to closure. Strong communication is essential because you’ll join the developers in stand-ups and priority meetings to make sure the most critical issues are surfaced early.
Deliverables each sprint
• Updated test plans and traceability matrix
• Executed UI and API test runs with evidence
• Defect reports and a concise end-of-sprint quality summary
