## About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Freelance Software Tester** to help test our web and mobile applications on a project basis. If you have experience identifying bugs, validating business workflows, and ensuring a smooth user experience, we'd like to work with you.

## Responsibilities

* Perform functional testing of web and mobile applications.
* Execute test cases based on project requirements.
* Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps.
* Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
* Test UI/UX consistency across different devices and browsers.
* Validate APIs and business workflows where applicable.
* Provide detailed testing reports before each release.
* Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

## Required Skills

* Experience in manual software testing.
* Strong understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
* Ability to write clear bug reports with screenshots or screen recordings.
* Experience testing responsive web applications.
* Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman) is an advantage.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience testing SaaS products.
* Knowledge of automation testing is an added advantage (not mandatory).
* Experience with CRM, ERP, HRMS, or business applications is preferred.
