Freelance Automation Engineer Required

Hiring: Freelance Automation Tester (Selenium + Java + Maven + JUnit + Cucumber + Azure)

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for an experienced Freelance Automation Engineer who can assist in automating 22 UI/API test cases for an enterprise application.

Required Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver

Java (advanced preferred)

Maven

JUnit

Cucumber (BDD)

Page Object Model (POM)

Data-Driven Testing (Excel/JSON)

Azure DevOps

Familiar with Azure Pipelines, Repos, Boards, and execution logs


Ability to design reusable, scalable automation frameworks

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills


Scope of Work

End-to-end automation of 22 UI test cases

Create/extend framework using:

POM structure

Reusable utility classes

Data-driven approach

Cucumber BDD feature files + step definitions

JUnit runner


Proper reporting structure, logs, and folder organization

Regular code commits to Azure Repos

Work will be done live on shared screen (Zoom/Teams) to maintain transparency and faster feedback and protect data
