# Senior QA Engineer / SDET (Contract) – FinTech Microservices Platform

## Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / SDET to join our team on a contract basis to support the testing and quality assurance of a modern FinTech and Payments platform built using Java Spring Boot microservices.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in API testing, test automation, integration testing, performance testing, and working within Agile development teams.

## Responsibilities

* Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports
* Validate REST APIs and microservices functionality
* Develop and execute automated test suites
* Perform regression and integration testing for each release
* Validate Kafka and RabbitMQ message flows
* Execute performance and load testing using JMeter
* Identify, document, and track defects
* Work closely with developers, architects, and product stakeholders
* Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release activities

## Candidate Profile

* 4+ years of QA experience
* 2+ years of API automation experience
* Experience testing microservices-based applications
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

## Preferred Experience

* FinTech, Banking, Payments, or Card Processing platforms
* ISO 8583 transactions
* PCI DSS environments
* Event-driven architectures
* CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices
