E-commerce site with custom product designer tool for print on demand product
I’m looking for an experienced web developer (or small team) to build a custom product designer tool that allows customers to personalize items with their own images and text. The tool can integrate with Shopify for checkout (or other options), and ultimately connect with a print-on-demand service for fulfillment. I already have some designs and code for front-end that could be reused. Need support in making it all functional.
Key requirements:
- Web-based customizer (upload images, add text, preview design)
- E-commerce flow (products, cart, checkout, payments)
- Ability to generate and attach a final design file to the order
- Clean, responsive user interface
- Source code & IP ownership transferred upon completion
Preferable:
- Experience with print-on-demand platforms (Printify)
- Strong UI/UX skills
- Previous experience building product configurators or design tools
Additional requirement details, wireframes, workflows, and API documentation will be shared after signing an NDA.
What to include in your proposal:
- Examples of similar tools or e-commerce projects you’ve built
- Your suggested tech stack
- Estimated timeline & cost range
- Your experience with Shopify APIs or other e-commerce implementations

- This is a “work for hire” project — all source code, designs, and related IP will belong to me.
